Day 1 Borghetto, near Lake Garda:

Flight arrival at the airport of your choice, we recommend either of Verona or Venice Marco Polo airport.

Personalised “meet & greet” in the airport arrivals hall.

Guided orientation walk of the village, rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 Verona:

Full day guided tour of Verona with a local specialist guide.

Day 3 Lake Garda (southern and eastern shore) and Riva del Garda:

Full day guided tour of the southern and eastern shore of Lake Garda with a local specialist guide.

Featuring some fabulous lake views and sightseeing at the towns and villages of Peschiera, Sirmione, Bardolino, Malcesine and Riva del Garda.

Assistance with your hotel check in and a guided orientation walk around the town.

Overnight in Riva del Garda.

Day 4 Trento, South Tyrol and Cortina d’Ampezzo:

Full day guided tour through the regions of Trentino and South Tyrol, including a guided walking tour in the City of Trento with a local specialist guide, concluding in Cortina d’Ampezzo.

Featuring the the historic City of Trento and a scenic road tour through the picturesque alpine region of South Tyrol.

Day 5 Cortina D’Ampezzo and the Dolomites.

Full day private circular tour through the Dolomites, nearby to Cortina d’Ampezzo.

Day 6 Heiligenblut, the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse and Salzburg, 

Full day private tour, crossing the border into Austria and taking the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse (high alpine road) through the Austrian Alps, making a sightseeing break at the village of Heiligenblut, concluding in Salzburg.

Featuring some fabulous mountain scenery in the shadow of Austria’s highest mountain – the Grossglockner – and a guided walk around Heiligenblut which is reputed to be Austria’s prettiest village, with several photo and refreshment breaks along the way.

Day 7 Salzburg:

Free day at leisure in Salzburg.

We recommend visits to the Hohensalzburg Fortress, the Mirabell Gardens, the Cathedral and “Getreidegasse”, one of the most attractive streets in the old town which also happens to be the location of Mozart’s birthplace.

Optional guided tours around the city or to the nearby “Eagle’s Nest” at Berchtesgaden can be arranged.

Overnight in Salzburg.

Day 8 Salzburgerland, Hallstatt, Lake Wolfgang and St Gilgen:

Full day private tour of Salzburgerland including Hallstatt, the Salt Mine and Skywalk above Lake Hallstatt, Lake Wolfgang and St Gilgen.

Featuring some breathtaking alpine scenery, the renowned Salt Mine museum and Skywalk experience at Hallstatt, and lots of photo opportunities along the way.

Day 9 Gmund, Lake Millstatt and Lake Bled:

Full day private tour through the alpine landscapes of Salzburgerland and Carinthia, the so called “Lake District of Austria”,  crossing the border into Slovenia and concluding in Lake Bled.

Featuring more spectacular mountain scenery, the quaint alpine town of Gmund with an optional visit to the town’s Porsche museum, Lake Millstatt and Lake Bled.

Day 10 Lake Bled, Bled Castle, the Vintgar Gorge, Lake Bohinj and the Mt. Vogel Cable Car:

Full day private tour around the local region, including guided visits to Bled Castle, the Vintgar Gorge, a road tour through the Bohinj Valley to Lake Bohinj and a ride on the Mt. Vogel cable car.

Rest of the day at leisure. We recommend a stroll around the lake, a boat trip to the island or afternoon tea with cream cakes (kremna rezina) at a lakeside cafe.

Day 11 Ljubljana, Postojna Caves, Predjama Castle and Piran:

Day 12 Groznjan, Motovun and Rovinj:

Day 13 Rovinj:

Free day at leisure in Rovinj.

We recommend exploring the Venetian style narrow cobbled streets and ornate squares of Rovinj old town, refreshments and “people watching” at a waterside cafe, and taking a relaxing stroll along the pine tree lined coastal footpath that weaves its way past numerous small bays and rocky coves.

Overnight in Rovinj.

Day 14 Venice:

Half day private transfer to Venice, concluding the journey in the centre of Venice at the Piazzale Roma.

A representative from your hotel in Venice can meet you at the Piazzale Roma to assist you with your luggage to the hotel.

Rest of the day at leisure, overnight in Venice.

Day 15 Venice:

Free time at leisure in Venice.

Private transfer to Venice Marco Polo airport, or you might prefer to extend your stay in Venice by one or two days.


Your transportation is by deluxe passenger van, offering exceptional travel comfort, with your own dedicated English speaking driver/guide.

You can enjoy all of the benefits of a private tour with us, for practically the same price as comparable bus tours offered by the big tour operators. Particularly where the fixed costs of your private transportation and guiding are shared between four or six persons.

At the time of making your enquiry we will check the current availability and room rates for our first choice hotel selections, and these details will be included with your custom made itinerary and quotation.

2) Your entrance fees at visitor attractions:

All of the entrance fees at the various visitor attractions or activities which are included in your itinerary are covered, unless these are stated as “optional”, in which case you will need to pay for these.

3) Local guides:

In addition to the general guidance and recommendations provided by Graeme, your personal driver and tour manager for your entire tour, you will enjoy the services of local city guides in various locations. Several of the guided tours provided by the visitor attractions listed above include local specialist guides.

4) Other services:

Orientation and guidance at each overnight location including local restaurant recommendations, assistance with your luggage between the vehicle and the hotel lobby, hotel check-in assistance, 24/7 emergency contact.
