Summary:

Day 1 Ljubljana:

Flight arrival at the airport of your choice, we recommend either of Ljubljana or Venice Marco Polo airport.

Personalised “meet & greet” in the airport arrivals hall.

Day 2 Lake Bled, Bled Castle and the Vintgar Gorge:

Half day private tour to Lake Bled, including guided visits to the Vintgar Gorge and Bled Castle.

Guided orientation road tour around Bled.

We recommend a stroll around the lake, a boat trip to the island or afternoon tea with cream cakes (kremna rezina) at a lakeside cafe.

Day 3 Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj and the Mt. Vogel Cable Car:

Half day private tour through part of the Triglav National Park, including a road tour through the Bohinj Valley to Lake Bohinj and a ride on the Mt. Vogel cable car.

Day 4 Postojna Caves, Predjama Castle and Piran:

Day 5 Motovun, Hum, Senj and the Plitvice Lakes National Park:

Day 8 Sarajevo:

Day 9 Sarajevo:

Free day at leisure in Sarajevo.

We recommend exploring the contrasting “Ottoman side” and “Austrian side” of the historic centre of Sarajevo, which is literally split into two distinct cultural areas which have been shaped by several centuries of history under different rulers.

Optional guided walking tour around Sarajevo with a local specialist guide.

Overnight in Sarajevo.

Day 10 Mostar:

Half day private transfer to Mostar, with the rest of the day at leisure to view the old town and the famous bridge.

Day 11 Herzegovina, Trebinje and Budva:

Day 12 Bay of Kotor, Perast, Island of Our Lady of the Rocks and Kotor:

Day 13 Konavle Valley and Cavtat:

Day 14 Dubrovnik and Cavtat:

Half day private tour to Dubrovnik, with half a day at leisure which can be spent either in Dubrovnik or in Cavtat.

Day 15  Cavtat:

Free time at leisure in Cavtat.

At the time of making your enquiry we will check the current availability and room rates for our first choice hotel selections, and these details will be included with your custom made itinerary and quotation.

2) Your entrance fees at visitor attractions:

All of the entrance fees at the various visitor attractions or activities which are included in your itinerary are covered, unless these are stated as “optional”, in which case you will need to pay for these.

3) Local guides:

In addition to the general guidance and recommendations provided by Graeme, your personal driver and tour manager for your entire tour, you will enjoy the services of local city guides in various locations. Several of the guided tours provided by the visitor attractions listed above include local specialist guides.

4) Other services:

Orientation and guidance at each overnight location including local restaurant recommendations, assistance with your luggage between the vehicle and the hotel lobby, hotel check-in assistance, 24/7 emergency contact.
